We’ve certainly been enjoying the nice weather over the past few weeks, here at Creamery Kitchens.
Whilst a nice summer can inspire a number of different events, from uninterrupted play at Wimbledon to no mud at Glastonbury, how does it impact on our interiors and particularly kitchen design?
Interestingly, the summer months remain a busy period for Creamery Kitchens. Being open 7 days a week is critical in ensuring we look after each and every new kitchen design enquiry in the personal and friendly manner to which our customers have become familiar with.
We are finding that demand for a freestanding, country style kitchen remains as popular as ever. Different times of year can inspire different colour palettes, for example, but the basic design premise of a solid wood, freestanding kitchen is a timeless one that has never gone out of fashion.
Summer is also often a popular time to consider a new kitchen as the long days and (usually!) drier weather allow building projects to progress at a greater pace. The experienced craftsman that make each and every Creamery Kitchen to order ensure that a new kitchen can be delivered from start to finish in approximately four to six weeks. With bespoke design options available, this remains a very prompt turnaround time – and, of course, means you can plan and install a new kitchen over the summer holiday period.
Freestanding kitchen furniture is incredibly flexible and can be adapted to suit every home, regardless of the space limitations. The sink run and wall cupboards shown in the picture here from our Maison range, provide a multitude of different storage solutions whilst also housing a large double sink. The solid wood worktops give an enduring look whilst the subtle paint finish, complemented by chrome pulls and handles, leaves a light and summery feel.
